On occasion, the restaurant can get quite busy, leading to longer wait times during peak hours. Timeliness may vary, especially during lunch rush.
Some diners express a desire for more dessert options to complement the meals, indicating a missed opportunity for a sweet ending.
A few have mentioned that the ordering process can be overwhelming due to the extensive menu, making it difficult to decide which delicious dish to try.
Occasional noise from larger groups may disrupt the otherwise cozy atmosphere, especially during peak dining times. For those seeking quiet, it’s best to visit during off-peak hours.
Extremely tasty, fresh and beautifully presented food. Even better than Ethiopian food in Ethiopia I tried. Highly recommend 🇪🇷🇪🇹
Lovely ambiance . Cool place and variety of sitting arrangements and will always recommend them as they can guide you on which is the best Ethiopian food to try
We went as a couple on our first night in Blantyre and had the most wonderful and hospitable meal in an incredible environment with unmatched hospitality. We could not have asked for a better introduction to this wonderful country and urge anyone to visit! Thank you!
Very nice food! New to me. Really good stuff. The place is stylish. Friendly staff. Hearty food. Drinks, too. The fluffy pancake with a bit of every dish ('Combo Grande') is a delight. (And Fela Kuti was playing on the screen...)
A wonderful restaurant - beautiful homely atmosphere with very warm and welcoming service. We ordered the Grande Combo and the kitfo lebleb - everything was delicious, particularly the doro wot, signi and fossolia. Would definitely return!
One of my favorite restaurants in Blantyre! Their food is yummy and traditional. I love to get coffee here because they bring it out in a small jebena (coffee pot) with cine (coffee cup) which reminds me of home plus it’s great coffee! They have a garden in the front yard which is well kept. I love sitting out there whenever I go there. This place is a must go when you are in Blantyre!! You can thank me later :)
A wonderful place to get authentic eritrean/ethiopian dishes such as dorowot, tibb, shiro, injera and of course ethiopian coffee. The owners Yordanos and Michael are hospitable and warm and very accomodating and the food prepared with lovem
